I'll always remember driving along I-10 around El Paso and noting the hovels on the Mexican side in contrast to the condos/neon/commerce on the Texas side. I said to MrsO that if I was on the Mexican side, I'd spend every waking day of my life trying to get into the USA. Compare that to the Canadian border where you'd be hard pressed to know it was a different country.
That being said, I have a few questions/comments on the current situation:
1) if these "children" are not from Mexico, how in the hell are they traveling from wherever they lived to cross into the US? I do not have free money to duplicate their journey in reverse.
2) the scenes I see on TV are not of emaciated kids with filthy clothes and flies flying around their faces. They look well fed and well dressed.
3) Why is the FUCK isn't that border at least semi-secure? I just saw a shot of folks coming across the river on personal watercraft and just sauntering into the US like they were on vacation.
4) WTF is going on?

The cartels are moving so much dope up the I 5 and the I 97 freeways into Oregon and Washington that it is stupid. Every week, there are at least 2 take downs of LARGE amounts of weed, and pounds of blow. Yesterday it was 2 pounds of blow, which is a small amount in Southern Oregon. For every one they get, and they get about 2 to 3 a week, 10 more get through. A month ago, they took down 40 pounds of weed in one truck. Both illegals.

And virtually every one of them is an illegal Messican, with the occasional white skurfer running the loads from Minnesota that come across the northern border from the wasteland to the north.

Nope, not a border problem at all.

The poor fucking Cubans trying to escape Castro's paradise I guess are on their own. Maybe another question would be if Cuba is such a great place with "free" education and health care, why aren't these "kids" going there???? Is this not puzzling?

Why haven't the Tea Party "patriots" called for citizen militias to handle all this influx? Oh that's right... their plutocratic handlers have them chasing their tails on that all important Obamacare stuff. Stands to reason... corporations need those work permit lacking messicans to fill a "few" slots that pad the bottom line at 8 bucks an hour and no bathroom breaks.

A simple google search would have prevented you from proving what an idiot you actually are. There are multiple groups that are actually out on ranches trying to help defend our southern border. Some have volunteers from as far away as the Dakotas. Most report crossing or illegals to the Border Patrol, while others actively detain and hold the illegals until law enforcement arrives.

Of course, LULAC, the ACLU and Liberal hacks are doing what they can to reduce the efforts of these groups.
