MrsO and I fly to Buffalo next Monday. Will keep tabs on bag contents and make sure and of MrsO's valuable jewelry is in her carry on. Theft like that would not surprise me at all.

I hate the new TSA. They touch all your stuff and leave your suitcase a mess. They don't care if they touch your stuff, they have gloves on. But they touch everyone else's stuff and then touch yours. It's nasty.

TSA is organized crime under the auspices of the federal government. Not only do our elected officials steal from us via our taxes and mismanagement of the budget, but they then pour salt into the wound by creating an agency like the TSA which serves no other function than to rifle through our belongings and take what suits them with no repercussions or oversight. Abolish the IRS and go to a flat non-progressive tax and dismantle the TSA.

And confiscate items in our carry on's they deem fit. Jam is not a liquid. I despise them.

Nothing new. We had clothing stolen from our luggage on the way back from Ixtapa 15 years ago. The TSA didn't invent theft.

With my new yob, i deal with the TSA every day. I have been there in baggage as they rifle through people's shit. I asked them about this topic. The ones I talked to said there are cameras everywhere and there are regular sting operation to try to bag them. So, if there are TSA douchebags doing this, they aren't particularly bright and will get bagged eventually.

It really is a thankless yob. Couldn't pay me enoughto do it.
