I actually made it into a Valentine's Day card. Went to Kinkos, got some card stock, put the "What's the last thing you want to see on your Caribbean vacation?" on the front with a generic nice sandy beach picture. Inside, under the picture, it says "Happy Valentines's Day". I've never shown it to anyone who didn't LOL. Took a handful of them back to St. Maarten this year and handed them out. People loved them.

I have to believe you all are just jealous. Or don't have a sense of humor. Or both.

88, you can keep the monopoly on wytching that pic. The offering courtesy of Goobs has been lauded by some here in terms of "sacking up" but for the sake of working the image it contains every bit of a poison pill aspect.

What has been seen cannot be unseen; but what has been seen can through scrolling and image block be seen the least amount possible.

I didn't realize it was Goobs posting his own pic when the thread started. I figured that as a HONK he had a yearning for posting nude dude.

BSmack is correct, though it's not just a getting older thing. The other knee is fine and is not likely to ever need replacing. I originally tore up the right knee playing high school football.

Back then they opened up the knee and cut away anything that wasn't still properly attached. Like most of the cartilage. It started to catch up with me in my late 40s. I put off the surgery as long as I could, because I figured the replacement is good for 20 years or so, and I only wanted to do it once.

Rehab was absolutely brutal. But the knee's been pain-free for almost 4 years now.

I had this sadistic PT who seemed intent on bending my leg until it broke again. 6 weeks of it. I still don't have full range of motion, can only bend it backwards about 30-35 degrees.

But I'm not complaining. After that cycle wreck, I was lucky to still be alive much less able to walk again w/o crutches. It still hurts sometimes and I can tell when the weather is about to change by how much pain it brings on.

Needless to say, I've never gotten on a motorcycle again.
