Honestly, yes. I purposely choose to follow college football instead of the NFL because of various reasons, one of which is the history and tradition that most every school has, even if you don’t like them.

I know you don’t like Notre Dame or many of the traditions and likely a number of their fans because of their arrogance, perceived or otherwise. That’s why I love it. For as much as I love ND, there is someone like you who hates them just as much. And there is a ton of things that go into that hate. Part of the reason why people hated UofM were the same things that UofM fans felt made it special. Even though I didn’t like them growing up, I loved hearing stories that there was a years long wait list for season tickets and families would make sure to will them to kids. Now? You can basically walk up and buy a ticket to any game and there is no wait list for season tickets.

He’s a revenue whore who reads directly from a business school text book about “maximizing revenue streams.” The revenue stream is the block M and he is quickly killing the goose who laid the golden eggs.

They deserve it. I have also enjoyed watching their hockey program flounder. I have appreciated that more than the football program's. Though both are nice.

I don't know about being the dominant team in the conference, but they did seem to give up on DickRod awfully quickly, and it's hard to believe he'd be doing worse than Hoke. Still too early to judge him at UofA, but he certainly seems to have them headed in the right direction.

Why not? There was nothing wrong with his offense and he was looking at 2 more years of Denard Robinson and 2 years of Devin Gardner as his QB's. Had he tweaked his recruiting to focus a bit more on the defense and gotten a DC that was anyone not named Gregg Robinson, he would have been set up in a situation where there was a vacuum after Tressel left and before MSU is what they are now.

He wasn't a good fit because people were still blowing the visage of Glenn Schembechler and his "3 yards and a cloud of no national championship" style of offense.

He didn't show anything to suggest his teams would have "dominated" the Big Ten. Competitive? Sure. MSU had little trouble stopping his mickey mouse offense. He was getting into basketball type shootouts with teams like Illinois, for crying out loud. He has never proved that he can consistently field a competent defense. UTSA was shredding his D the other night. He's a much better fit in Arizona, and he's still middle of the pack out there.
