I disagree.

The pace of play through 4 quarters was too much for Sparty.

Oregon needs to remember that through the season, and never get away from the Blur Offense. Not too many teams are going to have enough athletes to keep up with a prolonged Quack Attack.

Prolly has something to do with the fact that The Citadel OL admitted that they were trying to take out FSU player's knees and ankles. FSU lost three DL during the game to injuries. They also lost a WR who was hit in the knee while being tackled and held upright by another player.

Game couldn't end fast enough for FSU.

Notre Dame is not a top 10 team, yet. The rest of their schedule is fucking brutal so we will know pretty quickly how good they are.

Jesus, OU's first team was 31-0 when the rotation went deep . . . late in the second quarter. Against a program who has gone to a bowl game in nine of the last ten seasons, won their conference in four of them, played in the title game two others, and gone to a bowl game nine of the last ten years. The second stringers depth chart proceeded to pour it on. Only gave up one TD by the mop up crew late.

Todd McShay, who is probably one of the biggest and long time OU haters in the media gets on both national television and radio and proclaims he's been watching film and practices all week and there isn't a weakness.

http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=11470842

Feel free to fast forward to the 6:20 mark for his radio comments. You can go hunt down the ABC replay on ESPN3 or Youtube if you'd like to hear the television comments.

Your blind hatred and bias (which you claim is existent in everyone EXCEPT SECBSH) toward other teams is so obvious it's comical. Oklahoma has an offensive line that has five guys projected to go in the first three rounds of the NFL draft (by everyone and their dead great grandmothers) when they come out and are larger than 1/3 of the starting NFL offensive lines.

You can't even let it slip off your keyboard that OU is a top ten team . . . But Auburn who gave up 21 to an Arkansas program that hasn't won eight games or more in consecutive seasons in as long as I can recall and will be lucky to win five games this season (with THAT schedule) is on "auto-pilot". Do YOU even believe any of the shit you type anymore? For fuck's sake . . .

My top 10:
1. Oregon
2. Oklahoma
3. Texas A&M
4. USC
5. Florida State
6. Baylor
7. Notre Dame
8. LSU
9. Auburn
10. Missouri

I'm a little down on FSU after the Citadel despite the injury playing (and it was obvious when I watching the replay.

Oregon won a hell of a game against a team I still think is good so I gave them the bump. In the same breath, I couldn't justify keeping MSU in my top ten with a loss. I totally understand the perspective of "fuck it, who else?" But we're also only two games into the college football season, I don't know if that loss is any more quality than some of the others at this point. The season will tell, I'll let it work it's magic.

I'm such an SEC hater . . .

What's also funny is that you didn't know that Arkansas has the largest OL in the game of football right now - NFL, NCAA, HS, or your favorite - the Sanduskys.

What's also even funnier is how your obvious hate of Auburn & the SEC made you throw all of those teams under the bus in last week's thread, yet you throw another shit-filled, "I've had another mini-stroke" seizure in this week's thread.

The ONLY reason I excluded Big12 teams was beCAUSE of that, and I wanted to see you throw another fucked up m3 baby fit. Just like cockwork.

Fuck. You're really stupid as ni666er shit sometimes...
Actually, if you'd pull the SEC cock out of your ear and had listened to the link I provided McShay addresses how CBS and ESPN were incorrect about that. Maybe they forgot other teams exist in college football outside of the SEC.

Arkansas' OL is an average of 319.2 lbs. which is less than the average of 326.1 that Oklahoma averages . . . by a lot. Arkansas also only has two guys on that line projected to even be drafted.

It's everyone else, we're all the myopic easy ones.

First off SCS, you are one wordy sumbitch. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Secondly, I guess you thought that road 49-24 beatdown of Toledo was impressive. I thought so too, being as how they were only favored by 3.5.

But Top 10 impressive? Not quite. Not even close, really. Schmick is right in saying rankings don't mean shit and shouldn't even come out until at least October.

But I will say that Maty Mauk is indeed impressive and should make some early Heisman trophy lists. I have no idea how any D1 school in Ohio let him get away other than Pinkel and his staff must be good recruiters.

I don't think it was the pace as much as it was Mariota's ability to make the freelance plays. How many times did MSU have him dead to rights only to see him pull something out of his ass? MSU hasn't faced a QB as good as him since Russell Wilson. Also, as it turns out, breaking in 6 new starters on that side of the ball is kind of a big deal. Too many communication breakdowns in the secondary.

I think MSU has the personnel of a top 10 team, but don't have a problem with anyone bumping them out either. I think the latest polls have them around 13th, which seems about right to me.

I suppose they could've scheduled Portland State instead of Oregon and be 2-0, ranked in the top 10, and still be in the discussion for the playoff. CFB is so dumb sometimes.

Shit, I didn't know there would be a test. I'm going to guess...

Several?

At the collegiate level? Wilson was very, very good. Not as good as Super Mariota.

Amen.

Both Oregon State and UDub are so unbelievably lucky to be 2-0. Still in the hunt.

It won't last long. UDub sucks the biggest dick they've sucked since... that's right, they pulled an o-fer not too long ago.

Breaks my heart, really. Little feral puppies suffering and whatnot.

Oregon State? Who knows, Riley teams often improve as the season goes on. They're always a threat to either win 9 or lose 7.

I agree that it's too early for polls as well.

Mizzou looks better than Bama, period.

Missouri made it in the top ten for the same reason Mich State stayed in other people's . . . Who the fuck else. It will sort itself out later in the season.

West Virginia hasn't finished above 8th since joining the conference. I look for them to improve to 7th this season. Not because they are better but because Texas Tech got worse.

At least Mizzou played Toledo on the road. Bammer would never do such a thing.

It was a low spread, only 4.5 or something like that, and they covered pretty easily. That one seemed like a freebie if there ever was one.

Bama pays smaller schools a million bucks to play in T-town. I think those teams are pretty happy with that.
I see.

So, in other words, Alabama buys crystal footballs?

Nobody wants to play 9 conference games. Larry Scott is a nike employee forcing the Pac to stick to 9 games so Oregon can go to So Cal and play there every other year since thats where most of their players come from. Plus Oregon has been playing all their non conference games at home for a few years so they can get 7 and 8 home games a season

9 conference games gives the conference 6 more losses to their collective which then also hurt the teams that won those games in the computer polls through their strength of schedule. The conference was fucked coming and going by the 9 conference games but when the spoiled princess of the conference and her big money benefactor wants to play in So Cal to try to pillage talent since they come from a state that is void of any, the purchased commish gives princess what she wants
If all the P5s agreed to it it would be nice.

But that will never happen and Larry Scott weakens the Pac as a whole trying to appease his master at nike
The Big 12 plays 9 conference games as well. That's something else that hurts our SOS. Both our conferences have a built in extra 5/6 losses to the conference SOS.

So, your evidence of some unholy alliance between Knight and Scott is that the PAC does pretty much the same thing as every other conference with more than 11 teams, save for an extra conference game?
