You must really be a hoot at parties. Do you whine about the wine?
And I'm sure Texas will give up their (uneven) share of the loot and bow down to the mighty USC (and ASU).
Serious question... you're actually a real-life fucking retard, right?

Strangely enough I have heard similar discussions twice in the last week. Although neither time were the AZ schools mentioned. 12 is a far better number than 14.
But if SC is concerned that they don't have any power in the PAC, what makes you think that will change with a move? Texas and OU control the conf. Don't see that changing with SC coming in.

I think it's a primal impulse for Toejam... he doesn't do it at any advanced level.

Texas share isn't as uneven as it used to be #1. Maintaining the rights to their third tier programming would be very successful or with the combination of OU, USC, and UCLA, then Texas might be willing to let loose of the LAW and move to a conference network.
So California and Texas combined with two of the fastest growing communities in the nation with OKC and KC.
P.S. OU has actually made more from the conference revenue sharing system than Texas for four continuous years now.

Texas agreed to take a percentage less than their normal share and to pay conf opponents (football) who appear on the LHN themselves. Unless OU is winning two games a year and not on TV much their share should be the highest from the shared revenue.SunCoastSooner wrote:Texas share isn't as uneven as it used to be #1. The LHN would be unlikely to go away until 2021 at the earliest. ESPN sunk a bunch of cash in up front and they need that time to recoup some of it. Plus there are contracts in place with Olympic sports that UT would be unlikely to break.
Good chance though a Big XII network comes along in the next 5 years. It would operate along side the Longhorn Network and share much of the infrastructure already in place.

OU makes more through the revenue sharing and an exclusive deal with FoxSports.Left Seater wrote:Texas agreed to take a percentage less than their normal share and to pay conf opponents (football) who appear on the LHN themselves. Won't happen that way. Far to many small markets in the Big XII. Revenue would be structured close to it is now with equal distribution and bonuses based on appearing on first or second tier broadcasts.schmick wrote: Hearing that the TV deal would split the money based on which teams bring the TV sets and eyeballs
It would also mean a ton of late starts for SC and UCLA since that would allow for a four broadcast slot Saturday.
