Prolly have a top three more than one that I hate the most.

ND - Has nothing to do with the posters here or the school or its football team for that matter. Rather it has to do with all the members of the Catholic religion that have no clue about college football but somehow think GOD went to ND. Furthermore they are convinced that ND only accepts athletes who are of the highest academic and moral among us.

USC - Prolly has something to do with their fans here. Mostly has more to do with ESPN blowing them daily for years in the mid 2000s, when it turns out they had a zero peat. They also give off an do what I say, not what I do vibe.

Actually, you're way off.

Texas is by far and away the most hated for me. Not for the normal OU reasons. I grew up in Austin and San Antonio on and off for most of my childhood. Graduated high school there. The vast majority of my childhood friends attended UT if they went to college. When OU loses it hurts as a Sooner, all my childhood friends come out of the woodwork on social media, and I have to deal with you assholes here.

Secondly, I hate UNC. I was accepted to and wanted to go to Duke. My father was stationed at Fort Bragg for a minute. My significant other at the time didn't get in and my family couldn't really afford the cost of living in that area by myself (school was paid for). My youngest sister is currently a Junior there now and is considering Grad school OU.

Auburn, third, yeah. I won't lie. My ex father in law went to Auburn, my soon to be father in law played football at Auburn, I'm around a lot of Auburn. People, listen to me when I tell you that PapaWillie is not an outlier, he's a pretty damn good example of your typical Auburn fan . . . they really are this delusional.

West Virginia, Meh, I went to grad school at Pitt so I think I'm sort of supposed to and since now they're in the same conference as OU am I supposed to carry it over? Can I get clarification on this?

Notre Dame has done a lot to earn their hate. From your reasons to Lefty's, all seem to be pretty valid.

I don't really hate teams anymore. I used to hate Michigan, FSU, Miami, etc. Now I just hate people. I fucking hate Urban Meyer. I hate a lot of fans because most of them don't know shit. Not a big fan of Nick Saban because he lives in the grey area of the NCAA rule book.

What delusions do you speak of, Fuckstick? I've never gone around saying "Auburn's #1". As far as conferences have gone, there are MANY a time over the years where I have stated that I didn't think that the SEC was the best conference at times. ONLY when there statistics to provide such information - I do. And I ONLY do that when a PUSSY like YOU is CRYING about the SEC.

How often do you see me crying about the Big 12 like you do about the SEC? Other than the mock thread I just made about it, I can't find a single fuck in this world to start a thread about the Big 12.

I think the real reason people like you cry so much about the SEC, is because you know that the SEC normally has numbers to back it up in every facet - from drafting to bowl games, etc... The fact that Mizzou and A&M leaving the Big 12 (bwahaha) FOR the SEC didn't make little guys like you happy either. :D

You are this dense. You don't bitch about the B12 for the same reason nobody does. For the same reason the Pac isn't bitched about. Wazzu fan isn't riding USC's trophy case. In no other conference do you make a fourteen spot jump for beating a team who is 2-2 and only goes on to win two more games all season like Mizzou did after beating Florida.

Go on tell me how great Kstate suddenly is since you struggled with them. Them and their two conference titles (one shared with two other teams) in their entire program's history.

Totally not true. Nebraska destroyed the conference. I'll post on it later or in the am. No way you can go over 30 years of disagreements in a paragraph and I don't have time to do it now.

Last four years Texas has been an issue but the twenty-six before that it was ALL Nebraska. From expansion, to prop 48, to revenue sharing. Nebraska bitched and moaned until the day they left.

How were any of those rivalries destroyed.? Nobody at Texas, or anywhere else, told choklahoma and the bug eaters that they couldnt play each oher. That they quit playing each other is on those schools themselves. Same with misery and kansas, though no one outside of fly over country knows about that rivalry

OU ditched Nebraska because the way they acted from 1992-1995 in the closed doors discussions. The original plan was SEC style schedules but OU told NU to fuck off. They thought we needed them because they were up and we were down at the time. They tried to strong arm the entire conference but especially OU. They thought they were more important than Texas to us . . . They were wrong.

That's not even close to accurate about and Texas players since the 50s. Whenever OU has had that many Texans it has been down. Texas is our biggest recruiting area but besides Oklahoma we have numerous players from numerous other states. In your own state, Fresno (especially Central East) has almost become an OU farm for WRs and DBs. Off the top of my head OU has starters from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Louisiana, California, Florida, Maryland, and Georgia.

Right now I would say Texas Guys make up about 45% of OU's roster, Oklahoma 20%, 15% Cali/Florida, 10% "regional", 10% National

I don't want to put that much real thought into a post of the substance required to explain the Big8/SWC/Big12 debacle. Four decades is a pretty long expanse of time to go over.

All the kids on ND's roster from California are pussies. I would be just fine with ND not recruiting a single kid from that state. Plus, outside of a 7 year stretch USC has been ND's bitch during my lifetime. Not much of a rivalry.

Now that you mention it, there is only one kid on the roster from Cali who seems to be panning out, Michiah Quick. He's the lone cali starter right now.

But we have had some very good ones over the years too. Tony Jefferson (Cardinals) and Kenny Stills (Saints) most recently.

Nebraska left because of revenue sharing. The don't think the LHN had even been announced when they announced they were leaving.

You're wrong and I know this for a fact. OU/KU/MU had been squabbling with NU/CU about numerous issues dating all the way back to the late 70s and academic exemptions that became prop 48. SCS is correct on this. Not sure about his inside info, but he is correct in saying NU wanted out long ago.

Back in the early days of the Big XII Nebraska was the strongest program in the conference. They thought this would translate into them dictating the by laws and direction of the conference. Dr Tom thought OU would go along with the direction NU wanted and they would get everything they wanted. Turns out OU and Texas were on the same page and they dictated the by laws, direction, etc of the conference.

Then add to that Texas owned NU on the field as well with a 9-1 record, ending NUs long home winning streak, ending a few shots at playing for a national title, etc and NU was bitter as well. Plus, NU was 1-6 against OU from 2000. That plus having little say in the conference operation led to them taking verbal pot shots on their way out the door.

As for ATM leaving for the SEC, that has very little to do with the LHN. It makes for a convenient excuse since others were trying to use the same excuse. However, ATM left because they wanted out of the Texas shadow that they have always been under. They felt as long as they were in the same league as Texas they would always be second fiddle. There were SEac rumors with ATM all the way back to the 90s.

Texas first approached ATM as being equal partners in a network package. bill Byrne turned it down saying he didn't see it being viable for another decade or so. Then 8 months out from launch he decided it was viable and wanted back in. Dodds rightfully told him to pound sand.

So go ahead and hate Texas, there are plenty of things to hate about them, but at least use facts and don't make up rumors and then base your hate on that.

Share what revenue? LHN? Wrong! They offered ATM to go 50/50 on it first. Bill Byrne decided it had no value and three years later when the work was done he wanted 50 percent. Further, if school specific income streams should be open for sharing then all ticket sales, beverage sales, suite sales, donations should be part of it.

However, they did agree to take a smaller share of the tier 1 and 2 broadcast pie.

Further, the unequal sharing of TV revenue is something Nebraska actually got the other Big XII members to support. Of course they loved it when they were playing for national titles, but then hated it when OU and Texas were walking away with far more money than they were.

For Dr Tom to then open his mouth and complain about something he fought to have included in the conference is amusing. It also shows his true colors and the whiny little cry baby bitch he is.
