Oklahoma has been historically bad the week before and after Texas. Oddsmakers had OU -4.5...this is a team that has covered every week every game. tied at half. we'll see.

hard to know about this OU team. i liked them better with the Ford kid at tb. this version of the spread that stoops has favored has always been better with a run/catch threat out of the backfield....quentin griffin, a healthy demarco murray. keith ford who is hurt was that guy. but bigger and tougher. keep your lb's honest.

everyone loves perrine but the run/pass out of the backfield seems to disappear in the playcalling.

a mike stoops d is killer, effective when they line up in the same 5-2 look, disguise everything. they didn't do that once in the frogs second half td drive. guys lined up all over the place.

i've always liked Paterson. was glad he didn't get the ATM job when the Ags weren't playing God in the SEC.

OL and Trevor Knight will have to win this one. we'll see.

yup. OU's D doesn't look like they know what they are doing here at the snap in late 3rd Q.

so, the weirdness begins. Knight still just threw a TD the other way.

oklahoma needs to score on this drive to make it real. 4 points is a weird margin.

Wasnt TOO surprised at this outcome.

was getting really frustrated that we kept throwing and throwing and throwing when we had the Big XII's leading rusher in Perine.

holy fuck the worst thing about OU is OU fans , i swear to GOD i'd love to punch the fucksticks in the fucking throat. most of these BITCHES werent anywhere to be found in the mid 90s.

i fucking hate OU fans.

*edit
Obviously it's not 100% of OU fans..i'm sure KC and SCS can attest to what i'm saying....

That game was all on the coaching staff. Out thought themselves and played away from what got us here.

FUJH is a terrible OC as well. There are no excuses left for him.

I said on this very board that I thought if anyone beat us other than Baylor it would be TCU because of the style of play and the way they match up against us . . . I fucking hate being right today.

Papa Willie wrote:That was still a great game. Like I said - most college teams would have folded after the 14-0 start TCU got at first, but OU came back. Two damned good teams if you ask me. OU would have won it if it would have been in Norman...
I'm not sure we would have. It doesn't matter where that game is played with the game plan we came into the game with.

I just don't understand why we only rushed more than four men on seven plays the entire game . . . I can let Mike slide because it's rare his defenses lay a real egg. He is a master of bend but don't break. I really think he out thought himself this game. Shit happens.

I don't want to be one of "those fans" calling for Josh's head. I never called four Wilson or Long's. I recognized sometimes your game plan gets busted or you have a brain fart (four straight passing plays from 1st and goal in the national title game type shit) but I could recognize a consistent offensive philosophy from season to season an ability to adapt our weapons to the offense, and an ability to game plan well on a week to week basis. I don't see any of those things from Josh Huepel; the fact this kid is actually being mentioned as a candidate for head coach at numerous positions right now absolutely befuddles me.
