Did they even wear pads in that game? Fucking atrocious display of "defense." How do you watch that shit?
BTW, way to let Halliday set the NCAA single game passing record against you (734 yds). Even when Cal wins, they still lose.![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Give credit to the Wazzu defense and special teams. They did a great job letting Cal score quickly so they could get the ball back to Halliday.

I only saw the highlights, but how do you miss that chippy FG at the end if you're the Wazzu kicker? Holy christ, they won't come any easier than that. They might as well have just went for the TD the way that game went.
Re: Cal vs. Wazzu
I missed the game but looking at the score, I assume it came down to free throws.

Re: Cal vs. Wazzu
even into the 80's the benchmark for a good season throwing the ball was 1000 yards. though, that rapidly changed. by comparison, in 2000, Josh Heupel threw for 3606 yards. Sam Bradford threw for 4720 in 2008. Sam had 2 400 yard games in his career. Wazzou threw for almost twice that in one game. 700 a game gives you something like almost 9000 yards for a season. hypothetically.
