I could go on... but, you'd just get more depressed with your lot in life.
That's how cool I am.

Your Gunts got swept 3-0 and outscored 16-6 by the Royals earlier this season. Forgive thinking fans if they don't tremble with fear at your brain-dead prognostications. Kill yourself, Tool.matteric wrote:You ready for us KC ???

Make that 1-1 (on the road).matteric wrote:Sup ? 1-0 Giants (on the road)...

Forgive thinking fans if they realize that whatever happened in that series doesn't mean shit right now.
Absolutely. Two Wild Card teams, both with some personality. After last night it's hard not to jump on the Moustakas bandwagon, even from here. Definitely looking for an SF/KC series right now.Truman wrote:
But the point I was trying to make to our resident lute salesman is that the Royals really have no reason to fear anyone at this point. Most compelling, I believe, is that we have two Wild Card teams on the verge of making the Series. Good luck to your boys, Mikey...
Yeah, that was a good victory for the G-men. Props. I wouldn't be surprised if the Cards finally ran out of gas after that loss.matteric wrote:ThisJay in Phoenix wrote:

2-1 Giants
Can't speak for Wags, but I'm at the K today. PET to follow. Who do your Tigers play to today? Hope we don't catch you guys in the next series... Your pen is really good!MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:Props to Wags and Tru for supporting their team and making it to the game.

Well at least I have that going for me.Dinsdale wrote:Maybe you do, and that's cool.
Since 1991 ( the last year Kansas City drew 2M+ attendance), the Royals have staggered along at a blistering .433 pace, a string of futility that could only be stewarded by the likes of such stellar baseball minds as Tony Pena, Tony Muser, and Trey Hillman. Included during this breath-takingly horrible run was nine, 90+ loss seasons; four, 100+ loss seasons; and no division finish higher than third place - until last year. Toss in an uncaring, cheap-ass, skin-flint, payroll-gutting out-of-town owner interested only in turning a profit (he did, even with shit attendance), and you have the recipe for running off a once proud fanbase.Dinsdale wrote:ST holy FU.War Wagon wrote:KC loves their Royals.
25th in attendance (out of 30).
Twenty-fucking-fifth... including a pennant race.
Fucking shameful, and you sure the fuck don't "love your Royals."
Maybe you do, and that's cool. But there's empirical evidence that KC, as a whole, clearly doesn't. While KC's local TV ratings are quite good, they pale in comparison to that hated team to the east.
Ergo: Bandwagon.
