That's like asking a crackhead if they like crack.

About as rational, too.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

I bought a MacBook about 4 years ago and haven't had any problems with it. It's far superior when doing the radio thingy than a PC is, primarily because of the Djay app that's only available for Apple's OS. Its resistance to viruses and malware is also a major bonus; it's lasted longer than any of the PCs I've owned before. Maybe it is made from inferior components and is overpriced - I don't claim to be an expert on the components, and while I wasn't thrilled with paying more for it than I would have for a comparable PC, I have no regrets about it now. It's met and exceeded my expectations, and I'll probably buy another one when it needs replacing, which I don't expect to be anytime soon. Still runs like a well-oiled machine.

Been an Apple/MAC guy since they brought in the first Apple 2Es to our school. Went through a couple versions of Apple?MAC before getting my MAC mini that runs OSX Snow Leopard. Does the DeeJay things as Smackie mentioned and anything else I want. Cost me around $600 and is the size of a cigar box. Viruses? What are they? #1 son, the family computer whiz, worked for Microsoft for a few years, is a MAC man. Have used PC's with Winders working at Cornell and Edison College. Nice try at copying the MAC GUI. Got a MAC G4 tower in my garage, want one?

Update: (from a couple weeks ago)

I thought I'd update you on what I got. It took me 2 months to decide. The Saturday before last, I was on my way out to the Apple Store and told my husband I might come home with a new laptop and would he stand by to be available by phone if I had questions. He said, show me online first, so I showed him the Apple Mac book and the Asus the Alkie told me about. We decided the MacBook was going to cost more than double for a lot less gigs and bits and drives and all that stuff. Plus, they don't come in 15 inch. I checked out some Asus's at Sam's Club and Best Buy. Nothing good and no good deals. I went to Costco because they had an Asus online, but struck out, none at the Costco store. They had a few other brands like HP and Acer.

The next night, Sunday we ordered my Asus from the Costco website. $549 plus tax and free shipping. I thought I wouldn't get it until after Thanksgiving but it arrived Wednesday!! I didn't have a chance to really use it until Friday. Having trouble getting used to the mouse pad and windows 8.1 but it's got great sound compared to my old Sony Vaio. The picture is just OK, loved my Vaio. Maybe there are some settings I need to learn about for that. Anyhow, I still want a MacBook Air someday. Maybe if one comes out that's 15 inch or I decide I want to spend big bucks for an Apple.
