Holy fuck, what a weird ending to a game. Ole Miss had every opportunity to win that thing. Between the tipped almosttt interception caught pass by AU to that last pass play. What a kick to the nuts. Looks like Auburn has a little of that magic left over from last season.

I disagree with the last part of that. Their season wasn't lost on one play against Auburn. They had plenty of chances in that game and the week before against LSU.Papa Willie wrote: Have you ever seen a team lose their best player, the game, AND their season on one play like that?

True Lefty, they had plenty of other chances.
But to PW's point, the way it was going down and how that last play developed, it was as if the clouds were about to part for Ole Miss. To win that game, they would've certainly saved a top 4 spot and kept their dreams alive for the SECw title and the playoff.
And in one second before hitting the finish line, lightning struck. And in a bad, bad way.
And it's not like teams from Mississippi are in the hunt like this every year either. Any fan of OM or MSU gotta be thinking this is their best and only chance to win a national championship, maybe in this lifetime.

Pretty much every USF game I've watched the last 4 years.Papa Willie wrote:made you feel like you'd just gotten your ass whooped in a 50 round boxing match? That is what I feel like tonight.
That is all.
