On the local radio show, they mentioned that rumor has it, some dude named Braxton Miller wants to transfer to Oregon.
That would be a major-league transfer (assuming he's eligible).
That would fill in a gap next season.
I'll believe it when I see it.

If he has a degree (I think he does, or is close), he can enroll in a postgrad program at any FBS school without sitting out a year. Can't remember when they changed that rule, but it doesn't seem like it was that long ago.

They changed it about 8 years ago, I think?
Interesting if true. He recently came out and said he had no plans to transfer. Unless he wants to throw on some WR gloves, he probably should.

It's the rent-a-qb program. Wisky took advantage of it with Russell Wilson.Dinsdale wrote:If he has a degree (I think he does, or is close), he can enroll in a postgrad program at any FBS school without sitting out a year. God, it would be weird to see Braxton Miller back in Spartan Stadium... in a Ducks uniform. The book on him: phenomenal running back, average to below average quarterback.

When did you make that up? I've never heard that, not ever.schmick wrote:Could have sworn organ fans have been saying that the back up is better than maryoda for 2 years now.
Or maybe Miller wants to play QB for a good team, rather than play receiver for tOSU?Guess phill doesnt want to take that chance so he reached out to another nike school and will make sure he can purchase a new, out of state, qb for his floats

There is no way Miller hits the NFL as a QB, so it depends on what he wants to be.

These rumors have been swirling all season. Miller to Oregon. Miller to FSU if Winston leaves (or goes to jail). So far, everything I've heard is that he is sticking at Ohio State.
Personally, I want to see him lined up at WR next season with JT Barrett throwing him some bubble screens. As great as competition is at any position, the last thing OSU fans want is a 2-QB system.
If he ends up going to Oregon or another BTPCF school, I'll wish him the best. Any team would be happy to have him.
