I just came up with the best halloween idea ever.

"Unarmed black man" All you need is a little shoe polish, afro wig and shirt with the sleeve cut off and holes sowed closed.

Only trouble is, you better be able to get your arms free when some fukker with no sense of humor starts swinging.

Michael Brown was a criminal who committed a robbery, then assaulted a police officer. His death was initiated by his own actions.

Eric Garner is a totally different situation. From the evidence I've seen (the video), the officer should be charged with murder. If NYC commits 5 or 6 cops to the arrest of a guy selling individual cigs, they have their priorities wrong to begin with, but that man should not be dead. His family has every right to be pissed as hell, whereas Michael Brown's family certainly should be grieving, but they have to realize that kld fucked himself up.
Bullshit, Sam.

While I do not put EG is the same boat as the "gentle giant", not even close, he should have complied with the cops. WTF is a cop supposed to do when a perp shakes him off? Just shrug and move on to a more manageable perp?

If your problem is with the offense, I agree completely. But, that is not on the cops. That is on some asshole in a suit that decided smokers were his ATM. Ridiculous tax rates cause black markets. It is the cops job to stop black market commerce.

But when the guy was saying he couldn't breathe, maybe the officers could have eased up and let the guy catch his breath. Selling black market cigs shouldn't result in your death.
I would like to see more of the video. Is it hard to breath when you are morbidly obesse and have 3 cops sitting on you trying to get you cuffed? Sure it is. But there is a simple solution. Stop resisting. I see no evidence of the cops continuing to choke him out for any period of time that could result in ass fix e a shun.

It is simple, you do as the officer says and this is a non issue. Dude wouldn't have laid a hand on the perp had he just turned around and put his hands together behind his back.

If I were ever in a situation where cops are arresting me I will be super compliant and make it easy on them. Then I will call MS and let him do his deal and we can embarrass the cops later.

You should ALWAYS submit to that a cop tells you to do.

Screwy would fit in well with the hands up don't shoot protests.

That is a hell of a line to draw directly from breaking a law to deserving to die. :meds: Much better story, line, poster if we just ignore everything between those two, ehhh?

I suppose we could "STOP THE FUCKING PRESSES" to report your complete and utter lack of reading comprehension or ability to grasp the context of the quote in a three sentence exchange but that wouldn't be particularly newsworthy given your (semi)-functional illiteracy.

You remain a pitifully stupid streak of shit on the tighty whiteys of life.

EG didn't die because he was selling loosies. He died because he chose to resist a lawful arrest while morbidly obese & asthmatic. Play stupid games...win stupid prizes.

Mikey;
Stupid take. Should 16 y/o girls be banned from living anywhere near elementary schools because of Brenda Spencer? :meds:
