What's your go-to civil disobedience move?

Post by R-Jack »

I can't help myself

When I see a car that is taking up two parking spaces intentionally, I almost instinctively have to spit on that vehicle.

Don't worry. I'm not going to deface your personal belongings that you angled into those spaces, but I'll be damned if your Nissan Frontier goes unscathed.

I yell at asshole drivers.

I share your anger with double parkers. There's these two balck women who work in the day care in the basement of my building and for some reason they are OBSESSED with taking up two parking spaces for each vehicle. I have no idea why they do it. There's four spots that say "day care parking only" and they insist on taking up all of them with their Ford Expeditions.

Balck people, I tell you.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

If you can find another person to assist you I suggest raking as close as you can on either side of said vehicle. Back one car in tight and pull the other in head on. This allows both drivers to easily get out of their cars, but prevents the double parker from even moving in between his car and yours. If it is an SUV or hatchback he can open the back end and climb in that way.

That's not civil disobedience, that's a moral imperative and I wouldn't hesitate to key that fuckers shit in addition to honking up a big fat loogey right square on the driver's side windshield.

Civil disobedience is not paying your taxes
I hate sigs. But I lost a stupid fucking bet because a KC Paul lookalike and his sorry ass team were inferior to the greatness that is the Pittsburg Steelers.

Uhm... I pick up other people's litter? Does that count?

I've operated as a self-employed contractor for about 14 of the last 16 years without a business license.

I drink in city parks.

I smoke wherever I feel like, since anti-smoking laws are based on complete, utter, ridiculous junk-science.

Actually, I generally do whatever I want, whenever I want, but I guess I have morals, so very little of it is based on "stick it to the man."

When I had my lanai deck redone, the crew that did the work I called The LaRaza" crew. No permit, and I certainly did not question their legal status. At least the crew boss spoke some English.

Put me down in the guerrilla home improvement category. Nothing major like decks or finishing the entire upstairs, but, lots of little things that technically require permitting.
