I'd say that the court made the right decision in this case. But it does raise an interesting question as to where the line is drawn of what percentage of survivability would justify allowing the mother and/or teen to refuse treatment.

So if she was pregers and wanted to kill the child via abortion then the state would say her body her choice. However, when another living being isn't involved, it isn't her body her choice? At thirteen she is mature enough to decide to kill and at 17 she isn't mature enough to decide her own treatment.
