Hardly newsworthy...check your news archives. C-bus tards like their fires after a big win (or loss). It used to be a very heavy lean towards sofa fires. Local authorities tried to outlaw sofas on front porches in the campus area, so the fire bugs went to the dumpsters.
The High St. crowds spilled over into the street, blocking all traffic, thereby resulting in the police response.
Maybe next time, the local authorities will be a bit more proactive...but I doubt it.
Whatever happens, don't expect more responsible behavior. NOT. GONNA. HAPPEN.

Re: Idiots in Columbus
Columbus is the 15th largest city in the U.S. It has about 730,000 more residents than Tuscaloosa. It's a numbers game. The more hyped up drunken idiots you put in a compact area, the greater chance you have at hooliganism. Most of these riots happen in bigger, urban areas (like 2011 Vancouver) and my guess is they're mostly started by juvenile troublemakers with no connection to the school who are looking for any reason to start a fire, and a big sports win is a great excuse.

The SEC in general is the classiest, most responsible, winningest conference in the USA.
You all just need to admit that and move on.

I mean, it's not like they would ever murder somebody over a loss...Mikey wrote:The SEC in general is the classiest, most responsible, winningest conference in the USA.

Or poison some sacred trees...

I guess they just hate cliches.

I think the point is all fan bases have their tards, including the sinkhole they call Alabama. So save your pulpit-pounding sermons for your Tide buds.

99% is way too high for any fan base. I'd give Buckeye fan 75% at best.
