Putin couldn't care less who our president is. He is going to do whatever he can get away with doing in his little playpen. We shouldn't have expanded NATO as far east as we did. It was pointlessly provocative. We gained nothing by doing so.
To be perfectly honest, there really isn't any meaningful difference in the conduct of our foreign policy between Obonenose and Chimpy. I suppose Ambassador Stevens would have had adequate security in Benghazi but that's about it.

Well, Dubya wouldn't be trading 5 Tallies for a deserter or trying to close Gitmo down, if we can include a Marine Corps base in Cuba as foreign policy. Oh, and normalizing relations with them as well. He'd have never done that.

Sure, he would. He cut loose hundreds of dirtbags from Gitmo and other prisons who went right back to killing American troops. Who do you think released the turd who is running ISIS right now?

That would be simple partisan political calculus. Nobody gives a fuck about the Cuban embargo other than a small handful of Cuban emigres in Florida and the politicians who suck them off. Hardly significant in the big picture scheme of things.
