Yes they are... but, beaners can't read.

Shasta Lake, the state’s biggest reservoir, is at 78 percent of average for this date (though it’s just 58 percent full). Lake Oroville, the second-biggest storage facility, is at 70 percent of average and 49 percent full.
http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cgi-progs/reservoirs/RES

Looks there is only one reservoir in the entire state that is at 100% or better and it's one of the smallest ones in the state.

You are a pitifully stupid and horrifically plungered gimp.

Hate to break it to you, Chimey, but that 79,000 AF of storage represents a little less than two tenths of one percent of California's storage capacity.

You'll have to cherry pick a little harder than that. You don't live in Marin county either.

Maybe you missed my post... where I provided documentation about how much water we have up here ?

Our reservoirs are at 100% capacity and 10% above normal.
While major reservoirs on the North Coast are now filled to 75 percent of capacity and beyond, the reservoirs serving Central Valley water purveyors remain low. Lake Shasta is at 41 percent of capacity, the San Luis Reservoir at 39 percent, and the state Department of Water Resources estimates it will be able to deliver only 10 percent of the 4 million acre-feet requested from the State Water Project.

Yes, Melty, you're cherry picking. First you said North Coast now you're backtracking to North Bay.

Let's see. First you say north bay then you say north coast (both of which are completely irrelevant in terms of California's water situation) then you're back to north bay, then you have absolutely no clue what is or isn't a desert...but you aren't cherry picking, backpedalling and simply clueless.

On top of that, Melty can't read a simple link with up to date facts about the water situation in California.

Way too many chines reverberating in his head, causing his multiple-personalities to shift back and forth so often his brain damage now has brain damage. Toolio, take a whole bunch of happy-sleepy pills, cuddle up to that homeless aids victim lying on the sidewalk in a puddle of his own urine, lap it up as a water replacement and swallow.

Went through it as a child.

Closer to home, in the Old Days, this sucker was on the way to the Coast:

Image

I pissed on it, puked on it, passed out against it (after being forced to drive shitfaced out of town by the Seaside PD, and hopefully I wasn't in someone else's piss), caught steelhead next to it, and generally had a good time with the world's largest spruce tree...

Until Father Time and lightning got the better of it, and it died a few years ago (750 years old -- I think Wolfman planted it). Was about 17' feet diameter.

Now we have to go a few miles down the coast to see the world's largest spruce.

So you've got a list handy of all the viable crops that "Midwest Dumbfuck" can grow other than corn and soybeans? You'll want to read "viable" as profitable, BTW...

And no, wheat doesn't count. Your neighbor to the south already has that crop nicely sewn up.

Somehow, I can see where rice, cotton, and sugarcane might struggle just a bit, given grain-belt climate extremes, as well as citrus groves, chardonnay grapes, cocoa trees and banana palms.

Oh yeah, California????

Florida is filled with old people from all over the country that don't want them any more. And Gator and Hurricane fans.

I put it to you, Greg Marmalarde, that while California may be stupid, where were they when Florida declared war on Germany after Pearl Harbor? And which state decided that cheap ass pieces of paper badly corrugated should be used by really old people to cast their vote for Pat Buchanan?

Florida.

The state where you can't be too stupid or too high on weed from around Lake Okeechobee( killer stuff, so I heard.)

But what we Floridians do have, besides really good football players and weed, is water. Lots of water. We try to waste water by drinking it, making us a little bloated, but WATER! I can dig a hole and hit water here, but just try to use the water to grow weed. Shame, but back to the point!

Florida is dumber than California. Just....not as thirsty.

What are the water levels of Don Pedro, Commanche, O'Neill Forebay, Lake McClure, New Hogan, and New Melones though? These are the watersheds for the Central Valley and the agribusiness that lives off them. If the water isn't there to support the crops growing there, Cal is going to die a slow painful death. WTF is it with libtards and their rail projects? Morons in this state have been pushing for one for years. They have settled for a "busway" basically, ghetto hi speed rail. It will run from new britski to hartford. The fact that there is pretty much no one that makes that commute is irrelevant.

But hey, when they get done with the latest boondoggle, they've got their sights set on my hood (like a couple of blocks away).

Someone crunched some numbers, and for the price of a couple of miles of light rail, they could buy enough busses to run one every ten minutes, pay for the driver and maintenance, the driver's pension, and all other associated expenses for decades.

But they still build the trains. Sure, people ride them aplenty, but they'd take a freaking bus if it went to the same place. And the morons still don't have enough spots to put bicycles on the freaking trains (there's like 2 hooks per car, which are inside. Then again, there's only 2 racks on the front of each bus).

Fucking trains.

Excuse me? The following list says Nebraska can grow ample numbers of and significant quantities of if needed. The growing season (varies for type of produce) extends from mid-March to mid-October depending on the year. April through September is guaranteed. Speaking of water.... the Ogllala Aquifer (978 trillion gallons of fresh water) contains a decent percentage of ALL the fresh water on the planet. If vegetable production in Cali goes tits up, I predict a number of those corn, beans, and wheat farmers would make switch cash crops if they started making 70k per acre in profits due to the demand that would result.

Seems like the horse-fucker has made his appearance.

Horse-fucker... why don't you tell the board about where my ip address emanates ???

You still pissed off about your wife leaving you for a guy from Marin ???

There's a reason I went to Cal... and well, you didn't .

This seems like it needs to be repeated for the simpletons... at least 4 to 5 times.

Horse-fucker... why don't you tell the board about where my ip address emanates ???

Like I said, where I live... we have ZERO water problems (we're simply smarter than the rest of you)

Hell, we're 10% over capacity (which has been mentioned more than 3 times) but, this board isn't quite bright enough to read and write, as well as comprehend.

I'm surrounded by idiots.

In conclusion, will R-Jack (the horse-fucker) post my ip address... or will he continue to try and sidetrack where successful people live ?
