The Kingdom of God

Matthew 3:1-2
In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

John 19:30
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Acts 1:3
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:



People do unspeakable things, things which make no sense.
Betrayal, deceit, actions of damage, destruction or even death.
We see it daily.
We've been involved in, or impacted by, such things.

When someone acts this way, it isn't a problem that just came up now.
It's something that has been with that person for -----> a very long time.
Very long.


ye shall be as gods

And we left God.
It became all about me, what I want to do, what I think is best, how I am going to navigate this world.

But man is not a being that can live this way.
We are a creation... who must live with the Creator. Genesis 1:26-28, Genesis 2:17.

One's progenitor can never be changed.
We came from Adam.
This spiritual problem began there and went right down our family line -----> and landed on us.

So problems, people acting out, people doing unspeakable things -- is something which has been there for a very long time.
It's not surprising, rather, it's inevitable.

God knew it from the beginning, so He prepared the Christ -- from before the beginning of the world.

Romans 16:25
Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,



God's Kingdom has surely come upon all who hear, recognize, and accept the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Know your answer and be deceived no more.

Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

God prepared salvation for His children from before the creation of the world.
Ephesians 1:4, Romans 16:25.

So that none would be lost.

John 6:39
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
