So pretty much par for the course? I watched a bit at the end since hockey had finished up for the night. Horrible fucking shit. What the fuck happened to intentional foul calls?
Are you telling me... you freaks are still playing "soccer on ice" at around midnight... (cannibal/Wisconsin) time... on a Thursday night???
unreal.

I watched the game, the officiating was fine. Turnovers were what kept Houston in the game, not the zebras. And James Harden going off. If you really want a whistle on every play you'll have to wait for Big Ten basketball to start up again next winter.
Golden State played their C game and still won. They're pretty good.

Officiating should never be the reason for the difference in the game. There are always questionable calls and non-calls, but the Rockets undoing is their role players not showing up in Game 2. Howard and Harden did everything they could, but Smith and Brewer were absolute shit. Yeah, I suppose you can make an argument the Warriors played their C game, but the Rockets didn't play their A game either.
Warriors were favored by 10.5 and 10 in the first two games at home. I think it's time the Rockets get a little credit for making both games at Oracle go down to the wire. Golden State hasn't loss there in 4 months.

Both conference finals have been interesting. Surprised the Blackhawks have kept it this close, because the Ducks appear to be absolutely dominant at times. Anaheim-Tampa Bay should be a great championship.

Way to let Vegas business decisions make you feel good about being down 0-2. Shit, even I would've bet on the Rockets with a dd spread. The Warriors didn't do it against New Orleans or Memphis till close out time. Don't know why the trend would switch against the #2 seed.
With that said.....you're the fucking 2 seed! Have some goddamn pride. You're a top four team and you're feeling good about keeping it close. Pathetic.
Love Houston fans sucking each other's cocks over their moral victories, since they mean so much this time of year.

Golden State is 45-3 at home this season. The Rockets are missing 2 of their 5 starters including their intimidator Patrick Beverly. They absolutely have nobody at the point who can guard the star PGs in the West without Bev. They are running a 37 and 38 year old out there to chase Steph for 41 minutes.
This isn't about pride you stupid butthole. It's about being a realist. The Rockets simply don't have the defensive arsenal to stop the greatest shooter in NBA history. So, yes, I'm happy to see the Rockets didn't get absolutely run out of the loudest arena in the NBA by the best team. I thought it would be 0-2 when the series came back to H-town and guess what....it is.
Now it's time to even things up. Players will tell you they don't believe in moral victories, but they do to an extent. The Rockets are feeling pretty confident. They'd have a different feeling if they were blown out in Oakland.

Well...Golden State brought their A game last night. Their ball movement and defense was nearly perfect and the Rockets had no answer for it. They played uninspired basketball.
I just hope they can win tomorrow.

If the refs are on the take for LeBron then they did an awful job. They hit him with an offensive foul with like a minute left in the game, and on the ensuing possession James got the ball stripped with a lot of physical contact but the refs swallowed their whistles. Not saying he doesn't get star treatment, but during crunch time in that game he didn't. In the end Atlanta had two good looks on the final possession and clanked both of them. Also, the brainfart play by Scott where he watched the ball go out of bounds instead of grabbing it. Atlanta had so many chances. They blew it.
No fix, but Howard deserved the ax there. However, the refs probably saw what Bogut did leading up to that play and instead of giving Bogut a flagrant one and Howard a flagrant two, they reduced Howard down to a flag one.
Make sure you watch the entire play, mphoto.

Bogut, "pushed" Howard... hardly close to to a flagrant... stop spinning. It happens on every play.
An "elbow" to the head... full force... is unreal
Not to mention... "the rockets"... undercutting Curry... and almost killing him.
The Rockets... will get theirs... when they come back to the BAY... if not, tonight.

If you were smart enough to pan the camera up when YOU took that picture, you can see the thrashings and brush on the branches where the basketball players live.
