It doesn't matter if Christians are persecuted or not.
Nobody faced more dire persecution and trial than the 1st Century Church, yet they completely prevailed.

Why did they prevail?

They knew they had everything.

They knew Jesus was risen, He is the Christ, and He has -----> all power in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18).
They knew that nothing else is needed except for Christ.

Overwhelmingly, believers are holding on to Elijah (mysticism) and/or Moses (legalism) -- while talking about Jesus Christ.
God took those two away and left only -----> CHRIST.

Literally every page in the Bible is talking about Christ.

Down heah in the enlightened south, I can flip thru 50 channels on Sunday morning and 25 of 'em are church services. Where I live, there are churches on virtually every corner of every little town.

The Netherlands is considered secular, but there's Christian church services on all of the local stations Sunday mornings here, too.

one positive thing I can say about Catholics, is they build nice churches....this is the chapel of the mission in san juan del capistrano I visited.....

Honestly, I'm with Maher on this...the BS about Christianity being under attack is just that...BS.

Where you are from where every body goes to church on Sundays and are deacons in their churchs, but yet they feel that if them goddamn niqqers were put where they belong we would be better off, and they will more than willing will fuck some skank while preaching about family, that the fags need to be stoned, and Bruce Jenner is hot.

The churchs are just there so the fucking preachers can get blow money for the next week, while absolving you of your sins for fucking that skank.

Yeah, they need that fancy shit. No sense in spending that money on helping the homeless and distressed people in their own communities. If the Catholics and Mormans took 1/5 of the money they spend on that shit and did something useful with it, they might have some cred.
