No, it was Purple-rox, big Vikings fan, mainly posted in the NFL forum.

I believe it was his son who gave us the word, even dropped an obituary link where people could leave condolence. poptart and I did just that, maybe a few others.

All kidding aside, the Purplerox death event was a bit stunning -- because it was sudden.
And we thought perhaps we were being trolled.

But it was real.
He was a good poster, good guy, and a solid NFL contributor.
