Security guards were summoned to remove the man from the meeting. If the security guards had done that improperly, the man removed from the meeting could file a lawsuit and get those involved in improperly removing him from the meeting sanctioned for their conduct.

As best I could tell from the video, the two guys who approached the man neither identified themselves or asked him to leave.

The one guy just walked up and started trying to take his equipment, and then put a hand on him in that effort.

If I am the camera dude, at that point I have every expectation that physical force is about to be used on me (by men who did not identify themselves) in order to take my property.

As a human being, my common sense tells me that I have a God-given right to resist at that point.

If not, when do I have the right to resist these unidentified men?

When they've got me pinned on the ground and are doing who knows what to me?


The actions of the security guard is what started the scuffle, and then to make matters exponentially worse, he melted when his ass was rightfully being kicked -- to the point of firing his gun.
I wouldn't doubt that he pissed his pants, too, but we didn't see that on the video.

Skidmore touched the woman previously, yes, but he was making no effort to take anything from her, violate her, or threaten her.
She would have had no reason at all to defend her body or her property at that point.
