Regardless of politics, I think we can all agree that Craig James is a crybaby douche.

The overall issue is interesting, in that religious conservatives are finding that one of their deeply-held beliefs is quickly becoming socially unacceptable to espouse. Unlike some of the racist crap people used to spew 40 years ago, there is some more direct Biblical text speaking to this one, so they can claim it's a religious issue. Meanwhile, the majority of Americans are moving towards finding anti-gay statements offensive on virtually the same level as racist ones. Even if they win in the courts now (though I would guess they won't) it's going to be a temporary victory at best.
