I can understand the reviews of places like Death Valley. What would you expect? Acadia is cool, if just for seeing the first sunrise on North America from the peak of Cadillac Mountain. There is actually a patch of sandy beach, but the waters of the Bay of Fundy are a bit chilly, to say the least.

Sorry to go all geodale on you but, not the first sunrise on NA, just first in US.
Fairly certain that a good bit of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and whatever else is up there sees it first.
