9/12 games

Slim pickens today. Total cupcake city.

How in the world is Michigan giving 16 points? I don't think they could cover that against air. I love freebies...

Me too!

Looks like only 6 of us touched this game... 1/2 were right.

I'm feeling lucky this day... why, I might even break even.

Kinda sad we don't get a decent match up 'til 6 p.m. ET. The only good thing with Cupcake Saturday is we're bound to get a few upset alerts...

A bad stat from today...the Beavers were the only team entering the season without a QB having any playing experience. They looked good on the first drive...probably scripted the plays though.

Michigan's defense is still pretty slow sideline-to-sideline and they pounded the ball against a much weaker front than they faced in Utah. I wouldn't get chesty about it but it was a satisfactory performance. Rudock still bugs me as a passer and makes John Navarre look like Denard Robinson in terms of mobility. If Harbaugh's Stanford teams did anything...they ran the shit out of the ball. The more they run the ball this year, the better. The receivers can't run routes and Rudock is all over the place.

I admit, I mailed in my pickems this week and went by the CBS sports "experts" on the spreads. I got lucky on Clemson but went against them by picking Utah. Oregon and Miss St are my last hope to get 3 or 4 wins. I understand the O/U is more for the professional gamblers and the spread is mostly hype from the average Joe Schmuck.

How the hell do these "experts" have a job? Must be puppets installed by Vegas. The poor saps that actually bet with real money are the fools.

Oh well, at least it brings interest to watching games I couldn't care less about.
