That'll RACK. Shitty answer. As an analogy: Not all California pinots are overripe dreck. Characterizing the output of an entire continent with a quick brushstroke is dumb.

And getting a nice red (or so the score would lead one to believe) for $9 is pretty sweet.

I love my little local wine shop that has multiple locations and often undercuts big box stores. They also track down some interesting wines I don't often see elsewhere. I think I almost single-handedly cleaned them out of this Spanish Garnacha ($8.99):

I've had a couple of the wines mentioned. Laya is a particularly good value at $7.99 here in God's Country.
