Anyone see Sidways yet?

Post by Tiberious »

I will first start by saying that this is a VERY good movie. I went into this movie thinking its was going to sidesplitting funny, but I was wrong. It had its very funny parts and then its dramatic parts. Paul Giamatti did a great job in this movie and deserves all the credit given to him.

If you dont know that plot of the movie here it is with giving anything away. Two guys (one getting married) go up I-5 and sample wine from different regions of NoCal and of course the twists and turns that follow. Virginia Madsen was freakin hot in this movie and Thomas Haden Church played a good role himself. Overall, if you know anyone who is getting married and know someone that just hates his life, go watch this movie, its fucking good. The director, Alexander Payne, who also directed About Schmidt was fantastic. This is a must see and definately deserved The Goldent Globe for best Picture Musical/Comedy.
You know who I am.

Make the world a better place, punch Urban Meyer in the face.

uh huh.

i did, and i'm with you.

it was a good flick, Madsen is hot (always was, she's definitely sultry or sexy or something, fairly under rated as an actress and damn - she ages well.)

that haden (hayden?) church guy - has been annoying, always. since that god awful show he did with debra messing (ned and stacey ?) and since that equally annoying airport show... the one with tony shalhoub, can't remember its name... (wings?)

and, yeah... this movie is good, decent story, decent acting.
too bad the masses are figuring that out.
