I do not understand why this happened. This was a gun free zone by school declaration. Those declarations do not apply to legally concealed carry permit holders.

One veteran attending school on the VA bill with a Sig .45 in his backpack puts this mother fucker down with a 2-1 tap and it is a non story.

Pretty interesting listen on the scanner and radio frequencies today. Impressive response form EMS and law enforcement. 75 to 90 mile Code 3 runs, over 13 medical helicopters and fixed wing transports. Friend of mine was dispatched from Crescent City in a Piper Navajo medical transport. Took him 22 minutes to get there and was standing by at Roseburg airport.

The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Rack the police for taking out the trash.

And if you think for a minute that Dins was involved, with all that college age pussy around, he would not have a chance of staying on task. The snatch pursuit would take priority over all else.

I've spent way too much time working in that shithole town in the last few years. My coworker and I used to call it "Zombieland," since the foggy nights (always foggy at night these) were crawling with the methcritters. Those poor tweekers were trying to get an education (likely majoring in bathtub meth production).

Roseburg produces some of the strangest news stories (like the guy who was kidnapping goats and fucking them before sacrificing them), and this one may take the cake.

From the Douglas County SO a few minutes ago:

We have recovered a total of 13 weapons that are connected to the shooter and/or the shooter's residence:

At the school, we recovered six weapons including:
* 5 pistols
* 1 rifle

At the apartment, we recovered seven weapons including:
* 2 pistols
* 4 rifles
* 1 shotgun

A flak jacket was recovered lying next to one of the rifles inside the school. That flak jacket had steel plates held five magazines. Investigators also recovered a significant amount of ammunition at the apartment.
