ND is one of the more surprise teams this year to me...
I think Clemson's D is going to stand tall especially in those conditions tho...Clemson by 7

Kinda like that turd that UGA is laying. UGA and Clemson....not ready for prime time, year after year.

Re: ND/Clemson
Props to Clemson. They have scoreboard.
That said Killian and others would love to see how this game would have gone had ND brought their A game. Dropped passes, penalties, shanked punts, Turnovers (on a hit by the kicker no less) and on and on. Granted Clemson gets some of the credit for the havoc they caused but certainly not all of it.

Re: ND/Clemson
This. I missed the majority of the game as I was on a flight and then on my way home, but after hearing of all the dropped passes and then seeing the turnovers, ND didn't deserve to win that game, yet they were in position to do so. I think Kelly fucked up going for two the first time and then on the second had a shit call/approach.Left Seater wrote:That said Killian and others would love to see how this game would have gone had ND brought their A game. It sucks because this was by far his deepest and most talented team and despite all of their injuries had a chance to run the table.
Oh well. Let's see if he turns into 8-5 Brian from here on out.

Re: ND/Clemson
Possibly, but they'll need some 2 loss conference champs. No way in hell will they get in above a 1 loss team from the Big12 given their bitch fest last year. They will need either the PAC12, Big1G, or SEC to produce a champ with 2 losses. Could happen, but ND took their fate out of their own hands and has lost the right to bitch.

Re: ND/Clemson
ND should have gone after Watson's knee...he is just back this year from a torn ACL...when a team has a weakness you go after it...

Also, had ND kids went cleats up at Clemson kids they may have won the game also.

in all honesty in that shitty weather still a good game by both teams. ND was coming into a perfect scenario at Clemson (Clemson had a week off), at home, at night, etc...
