Re: isn't this a block in the back?
That is absolutely a block in the back. On top of that I have never seen a block in the back call reviewed. Can anyone else link me up to a block in the back call that was reviewed? I actually don't think the review was for the block in the back call. I think the review was to check each of the backwards passes. The official who threw the flag must have waived it off himself.
Not to mention the fact that Miami players ran onto the field prior to the score when the ball carrier was around the 10 yard line. That is a live ball unsportsmanlike foul. So at least their should have been an untimed down for Miami from about the 25.

Re: isn't this a block in the back?
This is what I was talking about in another thread. There were a million penalties on that play but they couldn't call any of them because that would have conflicted with the "original call on the field", or in this case, the original no-calls on the field. It's so stupid.

You're a douche, that's for sure. Take pride in your alma mater instead of some school you never attended. I couldn't care less how many games you attended in Norman.King Crimson wrote: yeah yeah, screw michigan will complain i can't be an OU fan because i grew up in Norman and my uncle played QB for the Sooners. i went to Vanderbilt because i could. wouldn't you? i grew up in Norman, i wanted to go someplace else. big deal. i went to every OU home game from 1975 to 1986.

I suppose you're right... KC has an intimate connection with OU Football, and you're a bandwagoning vagabond.Screw_Michigan wrote:Apples and oranges.
You didn't just kinda kick your own ass -- you went yard on that thing.

Re: isn't this a block in the back?
Pac 12 refs are smirking at other league's officials as they submit blown calls (and replays) in fruitless attempts to approach their level of incompetency.
“It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.”
Re: isn't this a block in the back?
Like Seer said -- 4+ blown calls on one play? BFD. PAC refs blow that many calls on every play.
