To whom? You? Certainly not to the mullahs governing Iran. It's usually for the best to sit down and shut up when you don't know what the fuck you're talking about and you, very clearly, do not.Dr_Phibes wrote:The revolution of the seventies is irrelevant

So, Ronnie allowing sand nogs on both sides to fire peashooters at one another = Allowing them to continue on the path to eventual joining the nuke club?
That is highly enriched stupid thinking right there.

Kerry: It’s ‘Very Disturbing’ How Ayatollah Keeps Saying He Wants to Destroy Us
Secretary of State John Kerry admitted to Al-Arabiya that it’s “very disturbing” how Ayatollah Ali Khamenei continues talking about destroying the U.S. and Israel after signing the P5+1 nuclear agreement.
Kerry said he would be pitching Gulf partners on “all of the ways in which this agreement, in fact, makes the Gulf states and the region safer.”
http://pjmedia.com/tatler/2015/07/21/ke ... estroy-us/

So, of course, the right thing to do is bend over, let them build nukes, give them a $150 billion in sanctions relief and lift the arms embargo.
Mere stupidity has been left so far in the dust at this point that treason is a fair issue to contemplate. What else can you call a deal so utterly and completed fucked as this one? Russia and China think it's a splendid deal and Iran couldn't even wait for the ink to dry before pissing in Kerry's face.

Most of the world will have the same reaction to this; a sarcastic "no shit."
There will however be a small percentage that will say just give it time. The Pres wouldn't have signed this if it wasn't in our best interest, etc, etc.

How so? Who is it that believes the Ayatollah would stop talking about wiping the U.S. and Israel off the map after the signing of this deal?

Re: U.S.AND iRAN REACH HISTORIC NUCLEAR DEAL
Are you talking about what "most of the world" thinks about the deal or "what the Ayatollah said?"
First, he didn't say that they were going to "wipe the US and Israel off the map."
Second, WGARA what he says for public consumption? It may be insulting and it's definitely successfull at his goal of pissing off people like you, but it really has nothing to do with the deal that was agreed to.

So "Death to America" is just joking. What cards those Iranis are. The Israelis have nuclear weapons and they are aimed at Iran. Teheran will be glass if one nuke is fired at them.

Obama admin: ‘We should expect’ Iran to use some of its nuke deal money to fund terrorism
Thanks to the President’s glorious, perfect, and absolutely imperative nuclear deal, Iran will suddenly have access to $150 Billion in previously frozen assets. This is great news for terrorists and despots the world over because we will have absolutely no say in how they choose to spend it. In fact, as Obama’s National Security Advisor Susan Rice points out, the Obama administration assumes that at least some of that money will go to fund terror operations.
During an appearance with Wolf Blitzer, Rice said that “We should expect that some portion of that money would go to the Iranian military and could potentially be used for the kinds of bad behavior that we’ve seen in the region up until now.”

Pretty sure it was his audience saying that. Not much different than a bunch of demented fogies in Florida shouting "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb...Bomb Bomb Iran." Doesn't mean we're about to do it.Wolfman wrote:So "Death to America" is just joking.

Re: U.S.AND iRAN REACH HISTORIC NUCLEAR DEAL
Kinda surprised you need the short bus version Mikey, but so be it.
So Kerry is very disturbed that the Ayatollah continues to talk about destroying the U.S and Israel after signing the deal. His statement leads a person capable of thought to the conclusion that Kerry expected different rhetoric from the Ayatollah after the deal was signed. Those statements also indicate concern on Kerry's part.Secretary of State John Kerry admitted to Al-Arabiya that it’s “very disturbing” how Ayatollah Ali Khamenei continues talking about destroying the U.S. and Israel after signing the P5+1 nuclear agreement.
I point out that most of the rest of us are not surprised by the Ayatollah's comments after the signing of the deal. I also don't see other world leaders backing up Kerry's statement that this rhetoric is very disturbing and surprising post signing of said deal.Left Seater wrote:Most of the world will have the same reaction to this; a sarcastic "no shit."
Two big swings and two misses. Some stats guy is dusting off a "K" sign somewhere. The post I responded to was a quote from Kerry being "very disturbed" by the rhetoric of the Ayatollah post deal signing. So pretty clearly my comment is in regards to Kerry and his expecting a different reaction and rhetoric from the Ayatollah.Mikey wrote:Are you talking about what "most of the world" thinks about the deal or "what the Ayatollah said?"
Ok, I will give you a push on this one. He didn't use the exact phrase I did, I paraphrased, instead of quoting him directly.Mikey wrote:First, he didn't say that they were going to "wipe the US and Israel off the map."
Well, Kerry for one. He is 'very disturbed' by his comments. Further when the Administration that just negotiated the deal comes home and tells us we should expect Iran to use some of its new money from the just signed deal to fund terrorism, I have a good reason to be upset.Mikey wrote:Second, WGARA what he says for public consumption?
And there it is, strike three as Mikey watches the ump punch him out looking.Mikey wrote:Pretty sure it was his audience saying that.Wolfman wrote:So "Death to America" is just joking.
The Ayatollah wrote:"Of course yes, death to America, because America is the original source of this pressure," he said

Gas prices are expected to drop the last third of the year, according to website gasbuddy.com. The national average is expected to fall below $2 a gallon in December.
“As motorists wrap up their summer vacation road trips, demand for gasoline slips in autumn and winter,” said Will Speer, a GasBuddy senior petroleum analyst. At the same time, refining margins are strong and with the switch to cheaper winter grade gasoline in the coming month, ample supply of discounted gasoline will be available to motorists, Speer said. “It’s the perfect recipe for savings at the pump till the end of the year."
Locally, gas prices are slowly dropping. Friday’s average cost for a gallon of unleaded gasoline in the Madison area – according to auto club AAA – was $2.536, down from $2.571 a week ago and $2.693 a month ago.
The national average was $2.665 on Friday while the state average was $2.643.

You were saying?smackaholic wrote:Whomever wrote that article is an economic simpleton.
They admit that all along, Iran has been selling its oil to China and quite a few others. So, their ability to sell to the US means nothing. Their oil is already on the market.
As for price, what you see now is likely to be around awhile. OPEC ran it up to the point where our harder to get reserves became financially viable. OPEC really doesn't care for such competition and backed it down to 3 bucks/gallon, which put all those fukkers in North Dakota in the unemployment line. You will see it inch back up slowly as those fukkers figure out just what they can get away with before the US producers try to come back on line. Of course the US suppliers are a little gun shy now as they realize that those goatfukkers in the ME can open the spigot again, if needed.
Don't hold your breath for 2 dollah earl, corky.
I filled up yesterday at $1.91/gallon and we're not the cheapest region for gas prices.

Gas is about $1.67 or so around here, but most would like to see it around $2.00. Would keep more folks working.
What happened to the live complaining about record profits and raising taxes on oil companies?

Yeah as if 10% is gouging.
Meanwhile Apple, Microsoft, Hollywood studios etc still rake in their huge profits but still no calls from libs to have them stop their gouging.
