Between 1900 and 2010, meltwater from Greenland boosted the global sea level by 25 millimetres, making up 10 to 18 per cent of global sea level rise, reports the new study published today by an international team of researchers, including some in Canada.

The new study also shows exactly where ice has disappeared from. Generally, the places that were melting during the 20th century are the same ones that are still melting now.

Meh. Let say for argument's sake that AGW actually is a thing. You know, a real thing, not the hiding-under-your-bed bogeyman that the Climate Crazies want to think it is. And my attitude is who cares? If some little brown person in Bangladesh has to move further inland or some Polynesian has to give up his white man despoiled island, really, who cares? I've got bigger immeditate problems to deal with than spending what few givesashits I've got left on something that isn't going to happen in my or my children's lifetime. Seriously, it we were all that concerned with the future, we wouldn't be contemplating the immediate prospect of one possible president whose financial plan is to drive up our national debt to unsustainable levels because she can't say no to spoiled children in college and private email servers and the other presidential candidate who thinks he'll retire the national debt in eight years without raising taxes and by building a wall.

With a clear and present danger posed by these two idiots, more beachfront property and longer summers seems downright idyllic.
