Bushice is presumed, but almost certain. He had health issues. We went back a ways and were IMing a bit about G-man, where he could be found, and how he might be fucked with. The discussion suddenly stopped. Bushice lived for that kind of shit.

We're all getting older (some more than others).
Expect trolls to start dropping like rock stars at some point.

No doubt 200lio passed on. That dude lived to troll this sordid clambake and then all of the sudden he drops off the face of the earth ERRR the Golden Gate Bridge. Shit, he won't even read a PM I sent him.
Re: Fallen comrades
I actually sent him a PM a couple of years ago asking about...errrrr...wind chimes, because the wife was interested in getting some. I don't think it was ever read either.Screw_Michigan wrote:No doubt 200lio passed on. What about e-clone? Used to see stuff on the web by nishlord, but not so much anymore. Really wish he would get back in here. He was easily the funniest fukker in the history of this place.

Got that straight. A regular poster will be listed MIA when they stop showing up. I doubt if any of our significant others give a crap. Those who do not post much if at all will be another story. Sup Luther?

Keep in mind that terminal patients can be quite delusional about their condition as a way of coping.BSmack wrote:I remember the last time he showed up for one of my radio shows. Re: Fallen comrades
This thread makes me sad. I don't go back nearly as far as you guys to the ol' SC days, but the death of a troll is not something to take lightly. I'm 38 and have only lost one friend at a young age (my sister). It was more difficult than my old man having the big one. I'm sure a lot of you are a little somber at the moment realizing how many trolls have joined that great gig in the sky.

Re: Fallen comrades
I looked back through my IMs. Four years ago, Van was dealing with stage 4 cancer AND trying to take care of his mom. He was doing radiation then.lovebuzz wrote:Definitely not Van responding.Sudden Sam wrote:I got another response on that email, but I don't think it's Van. Can't imagine someone else has that addy. My guess would be that it came back. Too bad. Van was good people.Van wrote:The problem with this cancer is it's a death sentence if it returns, and it supposedly returns within a year or so about 50% of the time. The reason it's a death sentence the second time around is radiation is no longer a treatment option, and radiation is the primary treatment option. Chemo alone won't nearly get it done, and surgeries simply become a whack-a-mole situation whereby they cut it out wherever it pops up next, but they're never getting it at the pathological level. Because it's in the lymph system it'll just keep spreading until finally it reaches the brain and/or lungs, and that's that.
Assuming they can kill it this time, I just have to hope it doesn't came back.
We're mostly somber about it being the wrong ones.Go Coogs' wrote:I'm sure a lot of you are a little somber at the moment realizing how many trolls have joined that great gig in the sky.

Oh yea. Everyone has those family members that you only see at funerals. Usually they are the people you only saw at the cookouts.
