Elite K-8 school teaches white students they’re born racist

An elite Manhattan school is teaching white students as young as 6 that they’re born racist and should feel guilty benefiting from “white privilege,” while heaping praise and cupcakes on their black peers.

Administrators at the Bank Street School for Children on the Upper West Side claim it’s a novel approach to fighting discrimination, and that several other private New York schools are doing it, but even liberal parents aren’t buying it.

They complain the K-8 school of 430 kids is separating whites in classes where they’re made to feel awful about their “whiteness,” and all the “kids of color” in other rooms where they’re taught to feel proud about their race and are rewarded with treats and other privileges.

“Ever since Ferguson, the school has been increasing anti-white propaganda in its curriculum,” said a parent who requested anonymity because he has children currently enrolled in the school.

Bank Street has created a “dedicated space” in the school for “kids of color,” where they’re “embraced” by minority instructors and encouraged to “voice their feelings” and “share experiences about being a kid of color,” according to school presentation slides obtained by The Post.

No doubt this shit's pretty ridiculous but it's a private school right? Nobody's required to send their kids there, right?

Myself, I don't have much to complain about. Any problems I have are generally of the self inflicted type... except for the IRS sending me nasty letters about back taxes we've already paid. That's annoying and will try your patience... ever try to call the IRS?

Interesting that you mentioned this. I filed my taxes before the April deadline. I had about a $300 rebate for over payment coming to me. A couple months later I get a letter and form from them saying I owed around $1,400. I went back over my copies and saw that they were wrong. I sent another 1044 with an explanation of how they made a mistake. A couple weeks later I got another letter for telling me to remit the $1,400+ amount. I tried to fix it using the 800 numbers and kept getting a run around with their robo-switchboards. Next move was to call to try and get an appointment to the local office here in Fort Myers. Hoping to talk to a real person and show them their mistakes. Much to my surprise, the woman who answered my call for an appointment said she could take care of it herself over the phone. OK, I give her the requisite information and after a few waiting on hold, she comes on and says, I am right, and there will be a check in the mail with my refund. It came yesterday. Sometimes the system actually works or some of the IRS workers actually give a shit.
