youtube decided i needed to watch the 07 Big XII championship, #1 Missouri and #9 Oklahoma.....during which Kirk was backpeddling from having announced on the air that Les Miles was going to take the Michigan job....according to HIS very special sources.

this is also before Kirk has (somewhat) cured himself of his "shouting" style of analysis. that and Billy Packer disease of repeating the same thing over and over and over and giving himself credit for having said it before. "it's like i was saying before, Brent.....".

i'm not a huge fan of Kirk but why the fuck not? war eagle.

He's from Channelview which is a shitty football program who made the playoffs based on Hurts' abilities alone. He was the team. Channelview was in a lot of 60-56 type ball games and he was impressive to watch. I was a little shocked at how low his grade was as a recruit (80) and wasn't offered a scholarship by any top tier programs except for Bama. ATM came in last minute, but that was due to Allen and Murray hitting the exits. He certainly looked the part against some decent competition and Bama saw something in him no one else did other than some second tier schools.
