This 115 proof expression is the third release in our Old Forester Whiskey Row series and celebrates the brand’s continued distillation during Prohibition. For 13 years, the production, transport and sale of alcohol was strictly prohibited. However, Old Forester was granted a permit to continue distilling on Louisville’s Whiskey Row. The 115 proof expression represents a barrel sample that company president Owsley Brown I would have batched at the beginning of Prohibition.

This stuff is outstanding. Tried it last week at a tasting side by side with this year's Old Forester Birthday Bourbon. This was better than the Birthday Bourbon.

I kinda got in some trouble for an alcohol related offense when I was young (learned from it). One of the conditions of probation was to attend AA (one guy told me it was all honor system, since they don't deal in full names, and it's kinda "anonymous." Filled out the forms myself from then on, and never went again (although some of them had good snacks).

Should have sued THE FUCK out of the county. Pretty sure there's a BoR Amendment that covers this... like maybe the First one?
