A bunch of Hollywood types and "stars" have passed this year. None really made me think twice until today. The saddest death of the year is Robert Hulseman. You may not know the name but dude was legendary on the party scene.

See, dude invented the Red Solo Cup. I would bet that all of us have had a drink or 2,000 from his invention.

I will lift one to Bob, but I will be damned if I ruin any of my own beer by pouring it into a plastic cup. Not saying I haven't had it that way a time or ten thousand, but it tastes better out of a glass.

I think I have a few hundred of those out in the garage from some party years ago where I needed about 50 but bought 500 from Costco.

Will have to raise a toast tonight.
