Raiders/Cardinals preseason tilt.

Marshawn Lynch sits out the national anthem.

:meds:

NFL teams require certain behavior from (employees) players on a daily basis.

Dress code for travel, curfews, behavior at public functions, etc, etc...

But they somehow can't require their employees to stand up and show basic respect for the anthem??

Hey turd/Lynch, you're not on a solo adventure here.
You're on COMPANY TIME.

On your own time, knock yourself out and behave however you want.
Whatever.

Hey company, get your shit together and get your employee in line.
Basic respect.

Pathetic.

There is a different set of rules for star athletes. As long as the team needs him for W's and or doesn't cost them money in ads and corporate spend, he can pretty much do whatever he wants during the anthem. If he suddenly sucks then the heat will grow on him.

It isn't right or fair but it is the way of the world. On the flip side all these folks claiming racism as the reason CK doesn't have a job are dead ass wrong. And come week 4 when a starter goes down and someone signs CK, does that mean the racism ended? :meds:

The big difference is that Lynch will not talk about it. Unless he has to, so he doesn't get fined. And if he does talk about it nobody will understand what the fuck he's saying anyway.

Oh poor whacist baby, you have your feelings hurt because another athlete sits through the anthem?

You are one giant pussy.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

Personally, I don't even blame Lynch, Kaepernick, or whoever decides to sit.

If they are rolling on their personal time, fine, sit down.
I couldn't care less.

I blame the TEAM and/or the league.

This is not solo time.
These are team employees on company time.

Teams make their employees do all kinds of things (that they prolly wouldn't do on their own time) on a daily basis.
You have to do this...
You must do that...
This is required...

On and on.

But you can't have them stand up for a minute while the anthem is played?
Because it violates their personal sensibilities or some dumb shit??

My prediction is Lynch will get hurt after about 5 games, and won't be back until the last month of the season.

The difference between him and Kap is simple, Meshawn doesn't suck and Kap does. Kap would be on a team otherwise, but what organization wants the headache he brings for below average QBing? There are plenty of below average backup QBs that don't bring on a headache for ownership.....until they're on the field.
