Get in while the getting is good.
I dedicated 2017 3BB to Whitey, one of the most dedicated players.
Gobbles McTubesteak will never play because he can barely tie his shoes.

Re: We're playing Three Best Bets again, losers
I would have to give a rat's ass about the NFL to even consider playing.
My 3 best bets would be:
1. Sam posting some inane email he received.
2. shutyomouth reacting to yet another bitch-slapping with a shitty little video.
3. Screwball maintaining his incredible streak of 10,382 consecutive shit takes.

1. The Chargers will be the fourth most popular football team in LA.
2. The San Diego Union Tribune will continue to cover them above the fold in the sports section.
3. I won't GARA.

1) This coming Monday we will be inundated with a colossal storm of outright lies concerning the 9/11 New Pearl Harbor.
2) Millions of people will seek shelter beneath the comforting folds of cognitive dissonance and sheer disinformation.
3) The Permanent War will slog ahead, its confused and clumsy massive tentacles constantly infused with huge increases in military spending.

The following will NOT happen:
1. Moving Sale will turn down a client on ethical grounds
2. Derron will come clean and tell us that sixteen year old Mexican girls make him feel young
3. BSmack will admit that two out of three of his dancing hamsters voted for Trump

I turned down a cop the other day who tried to hire me to represent him for a hunting case. Killing bambi is just wrong.

More like my core book of business would abandon me if I defended a cop.

Why do you hate the Sixth Amendment?Left Seater wrote:More like my core book of business would abandon me if I defended a cop.

So observations are now frowned upon here?

Re: We're playing Three Best Bets again, losers
Thanks mostly to attorneys, the sixth amendment, which once promised justice, has become a clusterfuck of too much bullshit, and too little common sense. It's fine to cite the sixth amendment and place it on a pedestal. But at the same time I think you should be honest about what it's become over the years. Like Left Seater, I am only making an observation. I have no solution except to have our law schools produce more conscientious attorneys. A football team is only as good as its players, and a legal system is only as good as its people.
Re: We're playing Three Best Bets again, losers
Well, I won, fair and square. My three bets all came in like fuckin' Secretariat, and...what do I win?
What does anyone win if this heinous monster is loose and feasting on your "republic"?

You don't understand words much, do you? I never questioned anyone's rights. I just made an observation that one set of clients might not like their attorney defending a cop. It could be bad for the attorney's business.Left Seater wrote:![]()

So since you doubled down please explain how the above somehow violates the 6th.

Re: We're playing Three Best Bets again, losers
SM, I was traveling and missed week #1.
So a few things...
1. Can a player pick less than three games in a given week? Can he pick 0 games in a given week?
2. What are the minimum number of games a player must pick in order to be eligible for year end honors?
3. I notice that you didn't post over/under lines for the games. I would hope you will consider letting players pick on the over/unders from here on out.
Thanks.

It was always a 38 pick minimum, I believe. Pushes don't count towards the 38.

If someone doesn't make any picks in a week, what happens to him?
I made no picks in week 1.
Am I -----> OUT?
You can run the game as you wish, but this is one reason why I always allowed for peeps to make 0 picks in a given week.
Sometimes people get a brain fart and miss getting picks in.
Hate to see someone totally eliminated just because of this.
