Exactly as I pointed out, but the 2nd degree as well as Involuntary Manslaughter were still options for the jury, and the prosecution seemingly laid out the clear evidence for either of those charges. The nullification, as I also pointed out, was facilitated by the (Hispanic) DA assistant who oversaw the prosecution, and duly carried out by the feckless, and anonymous jurors.

And yes, the toll booths on the Bay Bridge are completely unnecessary. In fact if you just roll through--even without the Fas Trak--the camera will register and send you a bill. The Golden Gate bridge has eliminated the booths.
