Btw, the irony here is VERY strong.
A few days ago Joe drove by and linked to an article (probably one of the first ones that show up on Google for debunking flat earth) that listed 10 reasons why we know that earth is not flat.
A mean, it's all science and stuff.
lol
#4 on the list was talking about how two sticks placed in the ground in different locations produce different shadows, so we know it is the curve of the earth that is causing that.
I laffed.
BUILT INTO the stick "experiment" is that ASSumption that the sun is 93 million miles away -- and is producing rays which are perpendicular to the earth.
And they don't even realize the assumption they have made.
Dummies just not their head at such an article and think flat earthers are stupid and stuff.
lol
Maybe the sun is close and the rays are not hitting perpendicular to the earth.
It destroys their asinine conclusion.
Such ridiculous "science" things are all over the internet, including within the lame V Sauce debunking flat earth video that Joe also posted.
No need to bother with it.
I recognize the idiocy and move on from it.
I'm interested in REAL findings on this issue.
