In the video, is earth curvature cutting off the bottom of the umbrella?
Nope.
He is simply low to the ground and the bottom of the object he is viewing is therefore cut off.
When he gets to a higher elevation, he can see all of the umbrella.
It is a matter of perspective.
It is that simple.
