Maybe it will make the price of a 58 Gibson Explorer drop..maybe Allen Collins daughter or Ricky Medlocke will have to part with theirs now, and I can get it for a grand or so.

Also, I am completely bewildered by the "relic" line of guitars. The prices are retarded...and the concept itself absolutely baffles me as to why anyone would want "simulated road wear"... :?

So, what will become of Gibson?

Somebody out there has to be willing to buy it and unfukk it.

Is part of the problem that there are no Jimi Hendrixes or Pete Townsends out there willing to light on fire or smash to bits their perfectly good guitars and buy new ones the next day?

Is it that people realize the old ones are so valuable, they take good care of them and they last forever? So, little demand for new ones?

Or are the owners just incompetent?

Are they to running a guitar company what Hillary is to running a political campaign?
