I'm not interested in the back-and-forth between Goober and shutyomouth.
shutyomouth produced a very bad take.
Goober pounced on it.
Their dialogue is based on speculation, anyway.
Then Lefty's "elevation" bark just adds speculation on top of speculation.
There is nothing to be known from the idiotic dialogue.
I'm interested in the video I posted.
It talks about tangible realities.
Like Byrd's multiple expeditions.
Byrd's findings.
Google Earth in contrast to Byrd's findings.
So yeah...
This is very interesting to me.
Because I am interested in FACT.
Watch the video.
It's why I posted it.

I haven’t watched it yet. Was waiting to do so in a pilots lounge one day when really bored.
But your track record on videos is crap Softball. You link us up to things where a guy hides objects behind boards, or blankets are some other arbitrary item. Or they are straight out of the flat earth talking points and have been debunked by 5th graders.
So I will watch it at some point and I am guessing I will get a good chuckle out of it. Just like you claiming elevation has no bearing on climate.

1. My track record on videos is excellent.
2. I don't link you to arbitrary things.
3. My points have not been debunked by 5th graders.
4. I did not claim elevation has no bearing on climate. As I said, the conversation between Goober and shutyomouth involved speculation, and it was pointless. Then you piled more speculation on top of it. Hence, my short remark.

Wow you really are delusional.
1) You posted a video where a guy hid an umbrella behind a board placed directly in front of the camera lense and tried to claim that explained perspective. In fact all it did was block the cameras view.
2). See # 1. A video proving nothing is totally arbitrary.
3) Ok, I embellished to make a point. But most 5th graders could see what is wrong with your video.
4) My comment wasn’t directed at you. It was a bit of shade in the Goobs Spray discussion. But you made it about you and you and are now trying to walk it back.

You just showed me you are every bit as stupid as I assumed. Take a look at page 5 of this thread. You and four other people have posted. You are the only one who believes that if the earth was flat, the entire planet would have the same climate. No one agrees with you, you stupid fat fuck. Get a clue.

You should do your own research.Papa Willie wrote:
Okay - since you or 'tardt aren't smart enough to figure this out, let me present it.
If the earth is flat, then why are Antarctica & the Arctic zones so cold? Logic would tell you that the Arctic would have no reason to be frozen at all. Is this really that hard for you and 'tardt to figure out, or are you going to come up with something saying that the sun is "highly adjustable"? And before 'tardt comes in and says "Well - the sun is at an angle" - fine - just know that if it was at such an angle, the Antatctic would probably enjoy the same climate as Ecuador does.
There are different theories and concepts.

Re: If this doesn’t prove that environmentalists are crazy..
Well that day/night video is worthless. It says nothing to address why the rays of light just suddenly stop at a certain point.
If the earth is truely flat the sun would be visible from all points on earth at the same time, as would the moon. Even if you want to argue that when it is further away the light isn’t as strong, you still have an issue to explain. When the sun “sets” there is still a bunch of light. Why does it suddenly just not reach an area any further?
Try this for yourself softball. Take a light bulb and hold it over a dinner plate. Now move the bulb around the plate in a circle. Does the light rail to reach any part of the plate? Nope sure doesn’t. Now move the light bulb directly above one edge of the plate. Light still reaches across the plate to the other side.
Finally explain this in your video model. I am in the left seat flying east towards Louisville. We are at approx 25k feet in our decent towards the airport. Both of us up front have our sun glasses on and the sunscreens down. The nose of the plane is pointed directly into the sun. It is one of the hardest times to see in the cockpit. Meanwhile further west of us in Louisville the airport is completely dark at this point. Pilots are asking the tower to turn up the brightness setting of the runway lights due to the darkness.
Explain how this is possible given the video you posted.

It isn't my model.Left Seater wrote:Explain how this is possible given the video you posted.
I do not endorse the model because I can not say that it is correct.
shutyomouth was floundering around with the sun/arctic/antarctic, so I simply showed him links where people address his take -- because his questions are pretty basic.
I posted Rob Skiba's video as an example.
It is just ONE EXAMPLE of a rudimentary model someone posted.
And he plainly posted on the video that it is not meant to show the exact locations of the sun and moon. It is just a demo, so people can get a basic idea of what flat earthers are talking about.
Then I followed up with his sun video, because shutyomouth claimed Skiba was scared -- which he clearly isn't.
The answer is obvious.Left Seater wrote:If the earth is truely flat the sun would be visible from all points on earth at the same time, as would the moon. Assume you are on the ground.
Why does an airplane at 35,000 ft in the sky move away and then disappear from your view under the horizon?
Why would light be any different?
If it is under the horizon it is under the horizon.
Under the horizon means it is -----> not visible.

The sun was below the horizon for the people in Louisville.
It wasn't below the horizon for you (despite being east of Louisville) -- because you were 25,000 ft up in the air.
There is nothing mysterious about the situation.

But now in this thread I have shown you the findings of a great American explorer of your parents' generation -- R. Byrd)
Yes, a man who put boots on the ground and spent many years exploring Antarctica (with other people).
He documented his findings and mapped out the terrain in different locations.
His findings do not match with Google Earth, to say the least.
It is quite interesting.
But the globetards in this thread (Lefty, Buttsy, Jay, 88, others) are shown this information -- and they show NO interest in it at all.
I find that to be very funny.

Pause the video at 0:03.
The sun is over the Pacific Ocean -- approaching Australia.
It is dark on the ground in Louisville.
Now imagine you were east of Louisville and were able to fly up to the same height at the sun.
Would you be in darkness?
Of course not.
The sun sets because of perspective.
It you are at a higher altitude (even if you are east of the sun -- and you are high enough) the sun will set later.
There is no mystery to this.

Wrong softball. Get out a pencil and paper. Then graph this stuff out. Perspective has already proven to be crap when it comes to the setting sun. I proved that with my dog and I walking away from a camera. You tried to spin it off as the lense wasn’t low enough despite it sitting on the ground. Perspective is crap. Especially when the sun sets hundreds of miles west before it does at a point 25K feet in the air.
Prove perspective, first before you claim it as proof for something else. Problem is you can’t prove it, so everything else you spew is bogus.

The Left Seater is gifted in malarkey.
Lemmings nod @Left Seater posts.
Let's try this one to see if some people reading this thread can maybe realize how badly they have been skull-fucked by the globe idiocy...
Image we can take a huge beach ball -- abut 2,500 miles in diameter, and we lay it down on the US of A. It covers the whole country.
We put a remote control airplane on the top of the ball, about perpendicular from Omaha.
Then we're going to fly the plane out to Los Angeles.
When our little plane get to L.A., which direction is the nose of the plane facing?
Pretty much straight down, right?
Yes, of course.
Then let's try it with another ball, a bigger ball.
This will be fun!
This ball is 7,296 miles in diameter.
Put your plane on top of the ball and make it head west.
By the time you've flown your little plane 1/4 of the way around the ball, what direction is the nose facing?
Pretty much straight down, right?
Yes, of course.
 coming on yet?
"Yeah, poptart, but our big ball is called... earth. NO FAIR!! We make up a new reality."
LMAO!

Yes, of course.
 coming on yet?
"Yeah, poptart, but our big ball is called... earth. NO FAIR!! We make up a new reality."
LMAO!

Re: If this doesn’t prove that environmentalists are crazy..
Bunch of words that all ignored the question. Typical.
As for your crap in the past post. What direction would the plane be pointing? It would be on a west Southwest heading. As for your claim that if would be headed straight down, relative to what? As long as gravity is produced by the earth then the attitude of the plane would be the same as it was when it took off. Why do you hate science?
Now whip out pencil/crayons/markers and paper and try to explain how the sunsets further west on a flat earth model before it does for a plane a few hundred miles east at altitude.

I don’t care how close he thinks the sun might be. Unless there is some sort of shade around the sun directing its rays we would see it.
Think of a spotlight at a theater or concert. Even if the light isn’t on you, you can still see the light rays.

I think we can all agree that voting Moving Sales as Dumbest Motherfucker Here was a complete travesty.
We've got a guy who doesn't understand gravity, who didn't pass junior-high math, and believes the earth's atmosphere is a vacuum.
And like a true Board Bitch, he runs around like a child screaming "I GOT BODE!!!!!" while horrifically plunger-raping himself.
It's actually kind of disturbing... but when was the last time you met a bible-thumper with any sort of intelligence?

None.

It's been explained to you over and over again. Your math teachers obviously knew you were an idiot, so didn't bother to teach you the basics. And everyone here knows you're an idiot, too.
Go back and read Goob's link again.
He does a great job explain why you're a fucking idiot, with no math knowledge whatsoever, you flaming fucking tard.Goober McTuber wrote:http://embracetheball.blogspot.com/2016 ... uared.html
This link that you've now posted two times (and used to call me an idiot) pimps this link ---> https://dizzib.github.io/earth/curve-ca ... t=imperial <--- for calculating the earth curvature correctly.
Yes, the very link that I have posted and referenced dozens of times, and which Dinsdale has repeatedly insisted is incorrect.
LMAO x a million!
OMG...
Too damn funny!

Based on everything else I have said??Papa Willie wrote:Precisely. You'd at least see a glow over the entire earth at all times if his theory was correct. Link?
Nope.
The sun can't show light when it is -----> below your horizon.
Simple.
Just as simple as understanding that as airplanes would be flying upside down on your earth, and water would have to curl and cling to the outside of a ball on your earth.
lol
Neither of these fantastical things can ever come close to being shown in any scientific experiment.
They never have.
You believe in utter nonsense.

It's quicksand, isn't it, fliends?
Now no more "fl@t earth" chatter for me.
I've had enough.
Look at you.
I've given you so many goodies. So many nuggets of truth and wisdom, yet it is never enough for you.
Never satisfied.
Worse than spoiled children, you are.
"One more question, poptart!!" "You never answered..." "You're an idiot!" "Bible-thumper..."
Yeah, I feel you.
You want more luv.
No more.
Let's have fun on the board, like Marty wants.
Oh, I know flat earth is going to rattle around in your head,
Undoubtedly so.
But use Google or Youtube and seek things out for yourself.
Or email Rob Skiba.
No more flat earth from me.
Nobody ever finds satisfaction.
Have a nice day.

Re: If this doesn’t prove that environmentalists are crazy..
Perspective doesn’t explain how the sun sets 200 miles west before it does for a plane at 25000 feet. Perspective works for power lines and ships at the horizon, not for an item that emits light and is always above us.
If you can’t answer this your whole the earth isn’t a globe model is toast. (Not that it isn’t now.). But yeah pull the rip cord, I would too if I were trying to defend your position. Getting most of your takes kicked in the teeth has to suck.

Your ignorance was addressed two months ago.88 wrote:4. Your argument relating to perspective does not explain why the bottoms of objects always disappear from view as we gaze toward the horizon instead of the tops of objects.
Watch the video and lean something, blowhard.
It was posted by me on March 3rd.
My comments...
poptart wrote:The whole video should be watched, but what you watch from 3:07 to 4:18 is very telling.
Very telling, indeed.
He shows how much of the boat is above the hard horizon when he is at 40 ft of elevation.
He shows how much of the boat is above the hard horizon when he is at 6 ft of elevation.
It is THE SAME AMOUNT OF THE BOAT.
If anything, the amount of the boat seen over the hard horizon actually increases slightly at a lower elevation of viewing.
If the boat was going over the curve of the earth, the amount of the boat seen above the hard horizon would DECREASE as viewing elevation decreases.
It doesn't.
Watch the video.
Think about it.
Let it sink in.
Digest it.
It is reality.
The boat (as it moves away, or if a person decreases their viewing elevation) gets "swallowed up" little-by-little by the blurring horizon until it is completely gone from view.
This is the reality of human viewing.
There are no boat going over the curvature of the earth.
When a boat disappears it has disappeared simply due to viewing perspective.
Sea LEVEL.
LOL
Email Rob Skiba with your further protests. :)
No more flat earth for me.

Btw, only the greatest of m0rons would equate "line of sight" viewing of a computer screen with line of sight viewing of something when you are at ground level looking through atmospheric clutter.
Dense, arrogant, and ignorant is no way to go through life, son.

It will take me a while to read through the 121 pages of test data...
I will not be commenting on this major test, but will leave it here for those that are interested in... science.
Are you?
I mean, really?
Enjoy!
