The Constitution needs to be amended to get rid of the ridiculous policy of granting full citizenship to anyone that shits a kid out in the US. I am not as cold-hearted as Shmick. I wouldn't require citizenship of the parents. I would settle for legal residency.
I would also pass a law that says if you are found here illegally once, you will lose the right to ever gain legal residence, never mind citizenship.
As for the DACA kids, those that have kept their nose clean should be considered for legal residence, but they should NEVER be elligible for citizenship. I might waiver on that if they complete 4 years of active duty in the military and receive an honorable discharge.
Trump has given the dems a more than fair offer, especially with the DACAs, but the dems passed as they don't want this issue solved. They want to continue to flood the country with future democrat voters. They have their eyes in Texas. They know that if they can flip it, it's game over. This strategy worked perfectly in Cali and allowed to continue, it will in Texas.
