Once the keeper of many of Mr. Trump’s secrets, Mr. Cohen is now seen as increasingly willing to consider cooperating with prosecutors.

There would seem to be some element of client-attorney privilege that exposing these recordings would violate, if not in the court of public opinion then certainly in a court of law.
