Anyone have any "stir fy" experience using lettuce

The reason I'm asking is because I've got some lettuce going froms seeds I picked up from Thompson & Morgan, and the recommended use for them is in stir frys.

I've never stir fried anything....what's good?

Has your lettuce come up yet? Have the slugs and rabbits left it alone? What kind of lettuce is it? Stir frying will wilt the leaves and you can do that and still retain a bit of the lettuce's texture by drizzling it with a bit of hot oil dressing as a salad. If not hot oil, bacon grease will do nicely.
