During the Braves run in the 90s, there almost seemed to be some signs of a local team fanbase. I lived in Nashville at the time, and they were more or less the home team. I remember when they went up 2-0 on the yanks. Fukkin' Braves gear appeared out of nowhere and they started talkin' shit. Then the yanks ran them and they all got drunk and went back to talking about how gay Jeff Gordon was.
I suspect there are more Red Sox fans in the ATL than Braves these days.
